for both STC members and prospective employers, and best of

Obtaining
Job Posting Information
Local job postings and other chapter
news and information are distributed to members through our
chapter listserv. If you are an STC/SM member and have access
to e-mail, you can subscribe to our chapter listserv to receive
the latest job announcements. Please review the listserv
registration instructions for more information about subscribing.
How
Job Postings are Distributed
Our chapter uses the following methods
to distribute announcements about job openings to our members.:

How
to Post a Job Opening
To post a job opening through the
STC/SM Job Board, send an e-mail message to our
Job Board manager. You need to provide the following information
for the position:
• Contact name
• Company name
• Address
• Phone and fax number
• E-mail address and company URL (optional)
• Position title
• Type of position (e.g., permanent, contract, freelance,
full-time or part-time)
• Length of position (for contract and freelance positions
only)
• Job location (e.g., Farmington Hills, Livonia, Ann Arbor)
• Skills and education required; preferred
• Job description
• Salary or hourly rate range
Using
the International STC Job Leads Database
The International STC job leads database
is a searchable, online database of job postings categorized
by state and type of position (e.g., permanent or contract).
The International STC Web site provides a fill-in form for you
to enter your job posting information or to search for job leads.
It is searchable by state and is maintained by our international
STC office. Jobs posted to this site remain posted for a minimum
of 60 days. Post
a job on the international site.
