The
Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication
(STC/SM) will offer our April 2010 STC/SM Program Meeting, "User-Centered
Instructional Design in eLearning", on Wednesday, April 14,
2010, hosted at Blue Cross Blue Shield, in Southfield, MI. The program
will will
share the presenter's expertise and sample works on how to design
and develop eLearning products that focus on the users to maximize
their learning experiences.
This
is an excellent opportunity to learn about developing eLearning
products, network with your colleagues, and find out about new member
services your STC/SM council has been developing. In addition, we
will also hold a surprise door prize giveaway at the event for attendees—win
your STC/SM T-shirt!
We

For
this event, you will need to check in with building security; if
possible, please register prior to the program by Monday, April
12, 2010, sending an email to < register@stc-sm.org
>. As guests of members and students, as well as the general
public, are also welcome to attend this excellent educational and
networking opportunity, please let us know that you are coming and
if you are bringing guests. If you are unable to register in advance,
please feel free to come anyway. All visitors will need to show
ID to the security guard to obtain building access. |
Directions/Parking |
The BCBSM facility is located in Southfield, MI,
about an hour from most locations near Southeastern Michigan. It
is East of Inskster Road in the BCBSM complex. Tower
200 is the center building with the revolving door. You will walk
in to face and check in to the guard’s desk. Then, go left
down the windowed corridor to the auditorium which is on the right.
For
your convenience, we have provided several links to MapQuest for
