The STC/SM chapter always welcomes:
—volunteers, ideas and venues for programs, and leads to good speakers,
—donations of products, software, supplies, services, and charitable contributions, and
—collaboration with other professional societies, educational institutions, and businesses.

As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation directed by volunteers, the STC/SM chapter's mission is to provide educational and development opportunities for STC/SM members, students, and professionals working in the field of technical communications and other professions. Thus, STC/SM depends on the generous donations of time and resources provided by the staff and from partners to effect activities related to its mission.
