Free AIIP/STC Joint Webinar: First-Year Questions Panel for STC members on Thursday January 21.
STC members can attend this free webinar specifically for first-year members to ask questions about being an independent info pro. Guest panelists will be STC member Ruth Thaler-Carter of Writer Ruth and AIIP members Scott Attenborough of Content Capital LLC and Ed Vawter of QD Information.
While the focus is on questions that people in their first year of business have, everyone is welcome to attend.
During the holiday season, we wanted to remind STC members about viewing webinars and about our networking lunch on January 22 at Little Daddy’s in Livonia.
The free webinars are only accessible to STC members, and we welcome members and nonmembers alike to attend our programs.

Check out the upcoming World Usability Day events in Michigan and Ohio.
Michigan State University’s Usability/Accessibility Research and Consulting (UARC) is hosting the 11th annual Michigan World Usability Day Conference on November 12, 2015. In the morning, recognized experts from industry and government will discuss real-world projects where they’ve incorporated UX/UCD best practices and user research to create effective, engaging user experiences and technologies. There will also be an open house at UARC and tours of the lab in the afternoon.
