Make plans now to attend STC Rochester’s 61st annual Spectrum Technical Communication conference, March 21-23, 2020, at the Rochester Institute of Technology. This year’s theme is The Expanding Spectrum of Technical Communication and will focus on the exciting and challenging scope of work we do now as technical communicators.
The keynote speaker is Louisiana Tech University professor Kirk St. Amant, whose talk, Dynamics of Cognition, Usability, and Design, will examine the psychology of usability in different design contexts. St. Amant is a familiar face to STC members as a popular speaker at the STC Summit and for his contributions to STC’s journal Technical Communication and to Intercom magazine. A complete schedule of presentations, workshops, and directions to the Rochester Institute of Technology can be found on the STC Rochester Chapter website.
In addition to the presentations and workshops, Spectrum is a great opportunity to network with fellow technical communicators. Conference registration is now open. See you at Spectrum 2020!
