IUE2017 will be at the Morris Lawrence Conference Center, on the east side of Washtenaw Community College’s campus on the eastern edge of Ann Arbor. The conference runs from 1 pm on Monday, April 24, through 5 pm on Tuesday, April 25. Michigan State University’s Usability/Accessibility Research and Consulting (UARC) is hosting the 11th annual Michigan World Usability Day Conference on November 12, 2015. In the morning, recognized experts from industry and government will discuss real-world projects where they’ve incorporated UX/UCD best practices and user research to create effective, engaging user experiences and technologies. There will also be an open house at UARC and tours of the lab in the afternoon.

You’re invited to Ignite UX Michigan 2015, an evening of twelve short talks on user experience topics in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, September 15. Now in its third year, Ignite UX Michigan gives local speakers a chance to share their knowledge. The event is free, registration is not required, and it is a great opportunity to learn and to mingle with other local UX professionals and students.
Ignite UX Michigan will be at Live in Ann Arbor, located on 1st and Huron Streets. The event will open at 6:30pm for networking, and then talks will begin at 7:00pm. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served, and there will be a cash bar.
